A TENNIS club has won a grant from the Lawn Tennis Association to help it develop the sport among younger children.
A £1,200 grant will enable Bexleyheath Tennis Club, based in Park View Road, Welling, to offer mini-tennis to youngsters aged between five and eight.
The course will run in the summer holidays and includes six lessons with a coach.
And the club has already been drumming up young customers from primary schools.
Bexleyheath Tennis Club already has two men's teams, one ladies' team, one mixed, one veteran and two junior boys' teams.
