A SCHOOL for people with physical disabilities has been rated as "Outstanding" in an Ofsted report.
The Marjorie McClure Specialist School for Physical Development in Hawkwood Lane, Chislehurst is for pupils aged four to 19 who have a physical impairment, or learning or behavioural difficulties.
It draws pupils from eight neighbouring boroughs as well as its own.
The report said the school ensured pupils achieved their potential academically and that many make outstanding progress.
The quality of teaching was praised, pointing at well-planned lessons and specialist staff.
In the report said: "The overall quality of care, guidance and support provided for all is excellent.
"School procedures, including child protection, ensure their well-being is appropriately safeguarded."
A spokesman for the school said: "Governors, staff, parents and pupils are delighted with the well-deserved result, as are the local authority."
