A 23-YEAR-OLD man caught with illegal class A drugs worth £18,000 has been given a four-year jail term and had £13,700 confiscated.
David Friend, of Hillcrest Road, Downham, pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to supply.
Croydon Crown Court heard police searched his house on September 27 last year and found drugs, scales and £10,000 cash.
He was arrested and released on bail.
On January 30, police stopped his car and found a further £3,700 in the boot.
Sentencing Friend on July 11, Judge Stephen Waller ordered the forfeiture of the money.
