A woman has died and a man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a crash in Swanley.
Emergency services were called to the roundabout where Bartholomew Way and Swanley Lane meet after a crash involving a white Ford Transit 100 and a pedestrian near to an Asda on Tuesday, January 16.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
He has since been bailed pending further investigation.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought following a fatal collision in Swanley.
“At around 9am on Tuesday 16 January 2024, a white Ford Transit 100 was travelling along Bartholomew Way towards the roundabout at the junction with Swanley Lane, when it was involved in a collision with a pedestrian near a supermarket.
“Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where the pedestrian, a woman in her 50s, was confirmed deceased.
“A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and driving whilst under the influence of drugs. He has since been bailed pending further investigation.
“Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle beforehand to contact the witness appeal line.
