A new Co-op has opened in Belvedere, creating 17 local jobs and featuring a parcel collection service via DPD.
The store officially launched on January 12, with opening hours from 7am to 10pm.
Occupying a 2,500 sq ft unit on Parsonage Manorway, the store prioritises convenience for the local community.
Apart from groceries, the Co-op offers a variety of goods, encompassing an in-store bakery, a Fairtrade coffee machine, fresh and healthy food options, chilled beers, award-winning wines, and an array of ready meals, including vegan and plant-based options.
Additionally, the new Belvedere store offers home delivery via Deliveroo and Just Eat, for quick and convenient online shopping, and a DPD parcel collection service.

Co-op Store Manager Suresh Singapara said: "The team is delighted to start the New Year with the launch of Co-op’s newest store.
"We are really looking forward to welcoming members and customers into their new Co-op.
"Our aim is to operate at the heart of local life, and we’ve worked to develop the range, choice and added services to create a compelling offer to serve and support our community, conveniently."
In-store amenities include an ATM, allowing residents to easily access cash, as well as a recycling unit for soft plastics.
The Belvedere convenience store encourages recycling by providing facilities for the disposal of household plastic waste.

Even e-waste is considered, with a new initiative to give shoppers value for their old electronic devices.
The tech-recirculation company Spring.co.uk has partnered with the Co-op to help manage this.
The store manager added that the Belvedere Co-op has "a focus on delivering member-value" so that Co-op's member-owners "benefit every time they shop".
Operating as one of the world’s largest consumer-owned co-operatives, Co-op's members enjoy a significant role in governing the business, along with exclusive pricing on everyday essentials and personalised offers through the Co-op Membership app.
