SGN is set to complete gas main connection works across Bromley streets from Wednesday January 17, 2024, with no specified finish date.

During this time, no vehicles can wait in the streets - any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986, or by Bromley Council.

No vehicles will be able to proceed in any street or any other street adjacent to that.

Traffic in the area can follow the direction indicated by traffic signs.

SGN will be carrying out repair and maintenance works on the following streets:

  1. Bourne Vale, Hayes
  2. Cintra Park, Anerley
  3. Crescent Drive, Petts Wood
  4. Crest View Drive, Petts Wood
  5. Oakdene Avenue, Chislehurst
  6. Ravensworth Road, Mottingham
  7. Sturges Field, Chislehurst
  8. Walden Avenue, Chislehurst

Works will be ongoing for a maximum duration of 18 months and works will begin on or after the date above.

Access to houses will be maintained as far as is practicable from either side of the closure.

Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

Nothing in the Order will apply to vehicles being used in connection with the works, or to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer in uniform or a Traffic Warden.
