A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Thamesmead.
The incident happened in Titmuss Avenue just before 7.40pm yesterday (January 4).
Police and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.
He was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.
Police enquiries into the circumstances are now ongoing.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 7.38pm on Thursday, 4 January to reports of a stabbing in Titmuss Avenue, SE28.
“Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
“A man in his 20s was taken to hospital by officers with a stab wound.
“His injuries were assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
“An investigation is under way and enquiries are ongoing. Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 5824/04Jan.”
