Dartford residents can expect 12 road closures on the National Highways network, creating disruption for motorists over the next two weeks.

Motorists could see wait times of between 10 and 30 minutes due to these blockages, according to the latest list of planned works from National Highways.

Here is the list of affected roads:

• From 8pm on January 5 to 6am on January 6, there will be slight delays (under 10 minutes) on A2 westbound, specifically from Pepperhill to Darenth, due to a slip road and lane closure for maintenance works.

• From 10pm on January 5 to 5am on January 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes) are expected on M25 clockwise, spanning from junction 2 to junction 3. This is due to lane and entry slip road closures for inspections, with a diversion route via National Highways and the local authority network.

• Between 10pm on January 6 and 5am on January 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes) are anticipated on A282 northbound at Dartford Crossing West Tunnel. The tunnel will be closed for maintenance works, and a diversion is in place through the National Highways network.

• From 10pm on January 7 to 5am on January 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes) are expected on A282 northbound at Dartford Crossing East Tunnel. The tunnel will be closed for maintenance works, and a diversion is in place via the National Highways network.

• From 8pm on January 8 to 6am on January 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes) are projected on A2 eastbound, specifically from Darenth to Ebbsfleet, due to a slip road closure for maintenance works.

• Also from 8pm on January 8 to 6am on January 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes) are anticipated on A2 in both directions from Bean to Ebbsfleet. This is due to a lane closure for drainage works.

• Between 8pm on January 9 and 6am on January 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes) are expected on A2 eastbound at Bean, with a lane closure on the exit slip road for drainage work.

• From 10pm on January 11 to 5am on January 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes) are projected on A2 eastbound, covering the stretch from Old Bexley Lane to Darenth Interchange. This is due to lane closures for inspections.

• Between 9.30pm on January 13 and 5am on January 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes) are anticipated on A282 northbound at Dartford Crossing. The tunnel will be closed for contraflow works, and a diversion is in place via the National Highways Network.

• From 10pm on January 14 to 5am on January 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes) are expected on A282 northbound at Dartford Crossing East Tunnel. The tunnel will be closed for maintenance works, and a diversion is in place via the National Highways network.

• From 8pm on January 15 to 6am on January 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes) are projected on A2 westbound at Bean. This is due to a lane closure on the exit slip road for drainage work.

• Between 10pm on January 15 and 6am on January 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes) are anticipated on A2 eastbound, specifically from Darenth to Bean. This is due to a slip road closure for bridge works.

These plans only cover major A-roads and motorways that fall under the jurisdiction of National Highways.
