Police are searching for a man and a woman pictured on CCTV after a stabbing in Gravesend.
The stabbing took place at around 3.15am on New Year’ Day.
The victims were walking in Gravesend town centre, near to Harmer Street, when they were approached by a man who reportedly threatened them and then assaulted them.
The pair suffered stab wounds as a result.
Both men were taken to hospital where one man remains in a stable condition.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “CCTV images have been released by officers after it was reported that two people were stabbed in Gravesend.
“Officers have released images of a man and woman, who they would like to talk to in connection to the incident which happened at around 3.15am on New Year’s Day.
“The victims were walking in Gravesend Town Centre, near to Harmer Street, when they were approached by a man who is reported to have made threats before assaulting them where they suffered injuries consistent with stab wounds.
“Both men were taken to a London hospital where one man remains in a stable condition.
“Investigating officers would like to talk to the man and woman who were in the area at the time of the incident, and who may have further information.
“Anyone who recognises them is asked to call Kent Police on 01474 366149, quoting reference 46/164/24.”
