A thief who terrorised small businesses in Bexleyheath has been jailed again.
Paul Stone, 42, previously of Gavestone Road in Eltham, was jailed in August last year for two burglaries.
The first took place on May 15 when he entered a hairdressers, Mass, on Bexleyheath Broadway with intent to steal.
Then on June 22 he entered into The Spice King on Avenue Road again looking to steal.
Stone pleaded guilty to those offences at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on July 13 last year.
His case was sent to Woolwich Crown Court the following month where he was handed a prison sentence, which he is currently serving in HMP Highdown.
But it has now emerged that the day before he pleaded guilty to those offences, he had committed another burglary.
On July 12 he had burgled Greek Souvlaki on Bexleyheath Broadway.
Stone was produced to Bromley Magistrates’ Court from prison on Tuesday (January 2) where he pleaded guilty to burglary with intent to steal.
He was handed another six months in prison, consecutive to the sentence he is already serving.
Magistrates noted that Stone has a “flagrant disregard for people and their property” and that his actions had a big effect on a small business.
He was also ordered to pay £200 in compensation.
