A man has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed in Plumstead on New Year’s Eve.
The incident happened near Plumstead Railway Station at 5pm yesterday (December 31).
A man was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening or life changing.
Police also found a BB gun near to the scene.
There has been no arrests at this stage and investigations are ongoing.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting the reference 4383/31dec.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “A man was stabbed at around 1700hrs on 31 December near to Plumstead railway station.
“He was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening or life changing There have been no arrests.
“A BB gun was recovered by officers near to the scene. Enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference 4383/31dec.”
