South east Londoners have been sharing their favourite photos taken in 2023, reflecting the beauty of the capital and beyond.
An extraordinary crowd-sourced gallery showcasing everything from quintessential London landmarks to tranquil nature scenes has been compiled.
Paul James, a who shared four photos, showed us stunning visuals of the St Paul's Cathedral from across the Millennium Bridge, an evocative railway scene, alongside familiar images of London's iconic Tower Bridge - each with a clever twist.
Jak Sabbath offered us a glimpse outside his office window capturing the historic St John the Baptist church in Eltham.
A magical moment was shared by Jacky Skinner with her captivating image of Christmas at Eltham Palace.
Jacky said: "Taken last night during the light trail.
"Beautiful."
This seasonal delight was complimented by the serene images of Dave Smith and Rob Keeling, respectively, offering perspectives of the sea and lakes at sunset.
Alice K Caeser took us back to the romantic Valentine's Day of 2023 with another sunset photo by the coast.
Elsewhere, TC Yvonne Bilgin shared a vibrant snapshot of the Hagia Sophia mosque in Istanbul.
Nature lovers were represented by Sharon Simmons capturing a stunning kingfisher about to take flight, while Samantha Hone revealed an intriguing photo of a snowy landscape.
Rachel Stone presented a sweeping image of a mountains and fields.
Our urban landscape was not forgotten with Jane Martin Garwood's depiction of skyscrapers and Bromley Gloss’ image of The Glades shopping Centre in Bromley.
Lots of peaceful images filled with sunsets, picturesque horizons and ocean views were contributed by Leigh D. Toomey, along with a lively fireworks scene.
