Hosted by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, people from all over the world head to London to watch the display and tickets always sell out.
Discussing the New Year's Eve fireworks in London, the Mayor said: "Celebrating the new year in the heart of our capital while watching our spectacular fireworks display on the banks of the River Thames is the best ticket in town.
“Millions around the world will see our capital's skyline illuminated by an extraordinary celebration of fireworks that will show London is for everyone."

If you didn’t get a ticket, the best place to watch the display is at home on TV, or you can celebrate in any of the capital's bars, restaurants, pubs and clubs.
Can you still tickets to London's New Year's Eve fireworks?
Tickets for the New Year's Eve fireworks display went on sale back in November and were quick to sell out.
If you did not get a ticket, it's important to know that you can't go to the event and you will not be allowed entry.
What time are London's New Year's Eve fireworks?
Those with tickets can go down to the viewer from 8pm when gates open, the fireworks will take place at midnight and the event will be over by 12.30am.
What are the viewing areas for London's New Year's Eve fireworks?
There are a number of official viewing areas for London's New Year's Eve fireworks and you can find more information via the London website here.
On the website, you will also find a detailed map of each viewing area.
Other important information to note is that streets will be closed to traffic so you will be able to use the roads for step-free movement.
There will be music playing through the event sound systems and you can not have any seating or bring any along.
