National Highways has confirmed that there will be no planned works on the Dartford Crossing over the festive period.
Planned works will be paused on the Dartford Crossing between Monday, December 18, and the New Year to help keep journeys moving over the festive period.
The overnight work in the west bore tunnel is scheduled to resume from Tuesday January 2, 2024.
The Dartford Crossing is a major road crossing of the River Thames in England, carrying the A282 road between Dartford in Kent in the south and Thurrock in Essex in the north.
The next full closure of the QEII bridge is planned between 10pm on Saturday, January 13 and 5am on Sunday, January 14, 2024.
