With Christmas being just over a week away, many Londoners will be looking to take on a classic 12 pubs of Christmas bar crawl.

The idea behind this is to head to 12 different pubs and have a drink at each along the way.

So, if you are looking for a merry weekend activity to get you in the festive spirit, we have put together a 12 pubs of Christmas trail in Greenwich to follow.

The Sail Loft

Based on Victoria Parade, this is a great pub to kick off your crawl.

It’s situated right next to the river, so you can overlook the Thames as you enjoy your first pint.

The Gipsy Moth

A hop, skip and a jump from The Sail Loft is The Gipsy Moth, a nautical pub with a patio garden.

This pub is based on Greenwich Church Street and is where 12 pubs of Christmas goers should enjoy their second drink.

Spanish Galleon

Now heading into Greenwich Market, the next stop is the Spanish Galleon is the third stop.

Coach and Horses

Also in Greenwich Market, this pub is just around the corner from the last.

To get to this pub, head out of Greenwich Market and towards Cutty Sark.

Kings Arms

This Greene King pub is next on the trail, based on King William Walk.

Kings Arms is a classic English pub with a variety of drinks on offer and outdoor seating.

The Mitre

For your seventh pint, head slightly further on to Greenwich High Road.

This is another 18th century pub with “contemporary rooms”, free Wi-Fi and sometimes live music.

The Lost Hour

If you are hungry by this point in the pub crawl, this spot serves Tex-Mex food to fix your appetite.

The Lost Hour is also on Greenwich High Road and has televisions for any sports lovers heading out on the trail.

The Morden Arms

The Morden Arms is a “traditional and lively” independent pub offering local ales and live music.

It’s based on Brand Street not far from Greenwich Park for anyone wanting to tap out for a short walk at this stage.

Ye Old Rose and Crown

This traditional, English pub is based on Crooms Hill, just down the road from The Morden Arms.
