We’ve rounded up all the Thameslink closures and changes affecting south London this Christmas week.
On Christmas Day and Boxing Day there will be no Thameslink services running at all on these days.
Between December 27 and December 29, Thameslink has advised that it will be running amended services across its network.
On New Year's Day and New Year's Eve, engineering works in the London Victoria area will mean that there will be no services running to and from London Victoria, with some services amended to run to London Blackfriars instead.
Customers are advised to check before travelling and to plan ahead over the Christmas period.
Here’s everything you need to know:
Monday, December 25 and Tuesday, December 26
On Christmas Day and Boxing Day, Thameslink has confirmed that there will be no services running on both days.
Wednesday, December 27 to Friday, December 29 Between December 27 and December 29, Thameslink will be running an amended service on all routes between these days.
Thameslink customers are advised to check routes before travelling on these days.
Sunday, December 31 December and Monday, January 1
On Sunday and Monday over the New Year's Eve and New Year's Day period, there will be no Thameslink services running to and from London Victoria due to planned engineering works.
Services to and from Orpington or Sevenoaks will be diverted to start and terminate at London Blackfriars instead of London Victoria during these days.
Services running to and from London Blackfriars will run as normal on these days from 9:30am.
Alternative Travel
Thameslink customers are advised to use the Circle or District Lines on the London Underground to travel from London Blackfriars until 10am each morning to complete journeys on these days.
