Police are searching for a man after an attempted stabbing on a DLR train.
At around 9.20pm last Wednesday (December 6) a man was sitting on a DLR train between Blackwall station and Westferry station when another man entered the carriage.
The man started shouting at the victim before approaching and kicking him.
The attacker then removed a knife which was concealed in his waistband.
He then rapidly moved the knife towards the victim, British Transport Police (BTP) said.
He then put on a balaclava before leaving the train at Westferry.
The victim was not injured.
Officers investigating the attempted stabbing have now released an image in connection with the incident.
They believe the man pictured in the CCTV may have information which could help their investigation.
If you recognise him, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 58 of 07/12/2023.
