A drink driver has been banned after he got behind the wheel of a BMW in Mottingham.
Wayne Angel, 36, of Roundtable Road in Bromley, drove a BMW 2 Series on Grove Park Road on November 12.
When officers made him do a breath alcohol test he gave a reading of 57 micrograms of alcohol in 100mls of breath.
This exceeded the legal driving limit which is 35 micrograms per 100mls.
Angel appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on November 29 where he pleaded guilty to drink driving.
He was handed a one-year driving ban which will be reduced if he completes a course.
He was also fined £120, told to pay £85 in costs and a £48 surcharge.
