A busy road in Bromley is set to close to traffic all day this Saturday.
Oaklands Lane in Biggin Hill will be closed for up to one day tomorrow (December 9), due to telecom maintenance works.
The closure will be between the junctions of Victoria Gardens and Salt Box Hill, 80 metres from the junction of Victoria Gardens.
The closure will be in place between the hours of 8am and 4pm.
Traffic will be diverted via Salt Box Hill, Main Road A233, Lebanon Gardens, Stock Hill and Norheads Lane in both directions.
Police officers, traffic wardens or vehicles being used in connection with the works can still use Oaklands Lane.
Vehicles will need to follow the diversion signs displayed on site whilst the closure is in place.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times and pedestrian access will be available during the works.
Although the order will have a maximum duration of 18 months, it is expected that the actual works will take up to one day to complete.
If you have any queries regarding these works, you can contact the Council's Environmental Services Department.
