Transport for London (TfL) has shared official advice on how services across London will affected during the Christmas period.
With many heading elsewhere during the festive time, the number of people commuting to work reduced seeing key engineering work take place on services seeing some closures on the London Underground network.
Closures and service changes are not set to start until December 22, meaning you have a few weeks to plan ahead if you are travelling in London during the Christmas time.
So you are not caught out by TfL changes, we have rounded up all the information you need to know on the service being affected this Christmas.
On the TfL website, they share: "Between Friday 22 December 2023 and Tuesday 2 January 2024, planned work, closures and service changes may affect your journey."

TfL Christmas service full timetable and affected services
Saturday, December 23
London Underground: No service on the Waterloo and City Line and the night tube will run into December 24.
London Overground: No service between Clapham Junction and Surrey Quays
DLR: No service between Canary Wharf and Westferry/Poplar
Woolwich Ferry: No service
All other services are expected to run normally.
Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24
London Bus: Sunday service will run and there will be no night service with the 24-hour service ending at midnight.
London Underground: Sunday service will run with reduced service from 8pm and normal Sunday finish time. The Waterloo and City line will not run and the District Line will have no service to Kensington Olympia after 8pm.
London Overground: Gospel Oak-Barking Riverside will have reduced service ending at 9.30pm and Barking Riverside station closed.
Euston-Watford Junction, service will end at 9.30pm, services will run between Watford Junction and Kilburn High Road only until 12pm.
Elizabeth line: There will be no service between Ealing Broadway and Paddington and reduced service on the rest of the line, TfL encourages travellers to complete journeys by 11pm.
DLR: Services finish 10.30pm and there will be no service between Canary Wharf and Westferry/Poplar.

Christmas Day, Monday, December 25
The following services will not be running:
- Tube
- Buses (including Night Buses)
- London Overground (including Night Overground)
- Elizabeth line
- DLR
- Trams
- River
- IFS Cloud Cable Car
- National Rail
- Woolwich Ferry
Boxing Day, Tuesday, December 26
London Bus: Sunday service will run on all routes, including night service.
London Underground: A Sunday service will run, trains will start at 7am and there will be a reduced service from 8pm.
The Bakerloo line will have no service between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone, the Waterloo and City line will have no service and the District Line will have no service to Kensington Olympia.
London Overground: The following service will not have a service
- Gospel Oak-Barking Riverside
- Euston-Watford Junction
- Liverpool Street-Enfield Town/Cheshunt/Chingford
- Romford-Upminster
Highbury & Islington-West Croydon/Clapham Junction/Crystal Palace will have limited service along with Richmond/Clapham Junction-Stratford.
DLR: Trains will start from 8.30am with normal weekday service and there will be no service between Canary Wharf and Westferry/Poplar.
Elizabeth Line: No service
Trams: Sunday service will run
Wednesday, December 27
London buses: Saturday services on all routes and normal night service.
London Underground: Saturday services on all routes. The Waterloo and City line will have a reduced weekday service and the District line will have no service to Kensington Olympia.
DLR: Will run a Saturday service with no service between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/Canary Wharf.
Elizabeth line: No service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway and reduced service between Ealing Broadway and Heathrow/Reading.
Trams: Saturday service will run.
Thursday, December 28
London buses: Saturday services on all routes and normal Thursday night service.
London Underground: Saturday services on all routes. The Waterloo and City line will have a reduced weekday service and the District line will have no service to Kensington Olympia.
Elizabeth line: Saturday service.
DLR: Saturday service with no service between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/Canary Wharf.
Trams: Saturday service.
Friday, December 29
London buses: Saturday services on all routes and normal Friday night service.
London Underground: Saturday services on all routes. The Waterloo and City line will have a reduced weekday service and the District line will have no service to Kensington Olympia.
Elizabeth line: Saturday service.
DLR: Saturday service with no service between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/Canary Wharf.
Saturday, December 30
London Underground: Night Tube running into Sunday 31 December. The Waterloo and City line will have a reduced weekday service and the District line will have no service to Kensington Olympia.
DLR: No service between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/Canary Wharf.
New Year's Eve, Sunday, December 31
London buses: Sunday day service, some buses in central London will be on diversion from early afternoon.
Sunday night service on all 24-hour and night routes, some routes will run more often and some will run overnight.
London Underground: During the day there will be normal service. The Waterloo and City line will have a reduced weekday service and the District line will have no service to Kensington Olympia.
At night, services will be running all night on all lines (except the Waterloo & City line and District line to Kensington Olympia).
Elizabeth Line: During the day there will be normal service. At night there will be a special all-night service running between Hayes & Harlington and Shenfield, Reading and Abbey Wood and Maidenhead and Abbey Wood.
DLR: Normal day service will be special all night serving on all routes, trains will come every 15 minutes.
Trams: Sunday service will run and a special all-night service.
New Year's Day, Monday, January 1
London buses: Sunday service on all-day routes and Sunday night service.
London Underground: Normal Sunday close of service. The Waterloo and City line will have a reduced weekday service and the District line will have no service to Kensington Olympia.
Elizabeth Line: Saturday service will run.
DLR: Saturday service will run.
Trams: Sunday service will run.
Tuesday, January 2
Normal weekday services will run on buses, the London Underground, Overground, the Elizabeth Line, the DLR, trams and the Woolwich Ferry.
