Enthusiasts and families are invited to an annual showcase of miniature model railways in Woolwich.
Visitors can expect to marvel at 17 fully scenic working model railway layouts, spanning from the tiny Z gauge to the grand G gauge locomotives.
The event takes place at Shrewsbury House, which boasts interesting WW2 bunkers, adding a unique historical dimension to the model railway extravaganza on December 10.
Among the highlights is the extraordinary Brief Encounter monochrome model railway from Model Railway Quest, featuring a stunning display that uses 32 shades of grey.
The event will also have a real ale bar and cafe where visitors can grab a bite to eat or enjoy a pint.
Attendees can also look forward to modelling demonstrations, including presentations by the OO gauge society as well as soldering demonstrations.
For those looking to enhance their own model railways, 12 traders will be on-site offering a diverse range of supplies, from paints and glues to locomotives.
Individual traders will be selling pre-owned model railway stock at bargain prices, providing an excellent opportunity for collectors and hobbyists alike to expand their collections.
Model Railway Quest, a YouTube channel and website curated by Dawn Quest— who is also TV producer (BBC/CNN) and model railway enthusiast, will be taking centre stage.
Dawn will be showcasing her monochrome masterpiece, Brief Encounter, at the event.
An online shop based in Welling, ModelRailwaySigns.com, will feature a trade stand at the event and offer its global selection of signs for model railway layouts, the shop offers a unique touch to enhance any miniature world.
