A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in south London.
Police were called to Purley Way in Croydon today (Thursday, November 30) at around 8.30am.
Both police and London Ambulance Service were at the scene.
The woman, believed to be in her mid-20s, was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.
Roads in the area are closed as emergency services deal with the incident.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers were called at 08:34hrs on Thursday, 30 November to Purley Way, Croydon.
“A woman was reported to have been injured in a collision with a car.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene.
“The woman, believed to be aged in her mid-20s, has been taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.
“Local roads are closed while emergency services deal.“
