A major road closure is set to disrupt drivers in the run-up to Christmas.

National Highways, which is responsible for maintaining England's major roadways, has announced planned closures on the A20 westbound, M25 to Crittalls Corner – which include lane closures as well as the entry slip road.

Crittalls Corner in Siducp borders the Bexley and Bromley boroughs.

The closure will be in place from 10pm on December 7 to 5am on December 9.

The works are for a sign installation and are predicted to cause delays of 10 to 30 minutes.

There will be diversions via local authority network.

National Highways only manages main roads hence local road closures will not feature in this schedule.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
