I love chocolate, and what I love more than chocolate, is a café where pretty much the only thing on the menu is chocolate.
At Creams café, you’ll get taken to sweet treat and dessert heaven – and it’s as simple as that.
Granted, not everything on the menu is chocolate based, but everything is scrumptious, sweet, naughty and absolutely delicious.
And, if you want it to all be chocolate based, then it can be.
It’s the perfect choice for a late night treat, a date night, a catch up with friends, or when you deserve something really quite nice.
There are Creams cafés all over London (lucky us!) and I went to the Kilburn branch on a Sunday evening to have a catch up with a couple of friends.
It was a cold evening, and all we needed was something warm and yummy, and we didn’t hold back.
The Creams in Kilburn is a large café with loads of room for seating, as well as a big bar where you can order and see all the different ice cream flavours.
I went for a crepe with milk chocolate and white chocolate sauce with strawberries, and a WHITE hot chocolate.
White hot chocolate?!?! What a treat it was. Don’t get me wrong, it was sickly and I probably couldn’t drink them on a regular basis, but wow was it good. It was creamy, chocolatey, filling, rich and genuinely a slice of heaven.
The crepe was heavenly, and HUGE too – I don’t know what they were trying to do to me to be honest, but it’s good because you can always take home your leftovers in takeaway boxes.
One of my friends went for a white chocolate heaven combo, and I was quite jealous, with a white hot chocolate, and a white chocolate cookie dough.
It would have been rude not to have a little taster of the cookie dough, and I can tell you that will definitely be my order for next time.
Sometimes I think nothing can beat milk chocolate, but then others a white chocolate treat hits the spot and you wonder what you’ve been doing all your life.
My other friend had a milk chocolate cookie dough with white chocolate sauce, and that was a perfect combination as well.
After a little taster of it all, and struggling through my own, we nearly rolled out the door armed with our takeaway boxes and creams-atella shake – which is the Creams version of Nutella in a shake form.
There are waffles, donuts, cakes and more on the menu, it’s just a shame my stomach isn’t a bottomless pit to try it all really.
Now the mission is how to resist doing that every day…
