Most of a warehouse in Greenwich has been damaged by a fire.
Firefighters were called to a fire at a warehouse fire on Horn Lane in Greenwich at 11.20am today (November 23).
Six people left the building before firefighters arrived and there has been no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers received six calls about the fire.
The fire was brought under control by 1.09pm.
70 firefighters and ten fire engines from East Greenwich, Deptford, Poplar, Lee Green and surrounding fire stations have been at the scene.
Firefighters are likely to remain at the scene throughout this afternoon (Thursday).
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said: “Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters have been tackling a fire at a warehouse on Horn Lane in Greenwich.
“Most of a warehouse was damaged by fire.
“Six people left the building before firefighters arrived.
“There have been no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade's 999 Control Officers received six calls about the fire.
“The Brigade was called at 11.20am and the fire was brought under control by 1.09am.
“Crews from East Greenwich, Deptford, Poplar, Lee Green, and surrounding fire stations have been at the scene.
“Firefighters are likely to remain at the scene throughout the afternoon.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
