A Dartford restaurant has been crowned Best Turkish Restaurant of the Year at an annual awards event.
Efes, located on High Street, received the title at the annual Euro Asia Curry Awards.
The event, held for the seventh year, praises the UK's top curry producers and the driving forces behind their success.
The venue shared their excitement on Facebook: “We are proud to announce that EFES Dartford has been awarded the Best Turkish Restaurant in Kent at the Euroasia Curry Awards this week.
“This recognition is a testament to our commitment to providing authentic Turkish cuisine and exceptional dining experiences to our valued customers.”
Nearly 500 individual nominees and businesses from across the country put their name forward to be considered for the various awards.
The ceremony was held at Mayfair Venue in Romford on November 15.
Roughly 50 winners, both regionally and nationally, claimed a trophy in the food industry event.
Euro Asia Awards, founded by celebrated Bangladeshi chef, Shorif Kahn, provide recognition for the hardworking individuals in the curry industry.
Shorif said: "The UK is home to some fantastic curry restaurants and takeaways.
"The awards are a way to give something back to the people behind them.
“2023 has been a great year for the country’s curry industry, with business generally back to pre-pandemic levels after a few very tough years.”
