Planned engineering work will take place on certain Southeastern Railway lines this weekend, closing some lines.

The work will be taking place on Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26 closing some lines and causing some trains to be replaced by buses.

We have compiled all of the information about this work so that you can properly plan your travel this weekend.

No High Speed services from London St Pancras International (Saturday, November 25)

There will be no high speed  services from London St Pancras International from 11.30pm until the end of service on Saturday.

Engineering work is taking place in the London St Pancras International area, meaning some lines are closed, and there will be no replacement buses running.

Southeastern recommends travelling from London Charing Cross, Waterloo East, London Bridge or London Victoria instead.

High Speed via Ashford International (Saturday, November 25)

The 8.50pm Margate to London St Pancras International via Canterbury West, 9.07pm Ramsgate to London St Pancras International via Dover, 9.50pm Margate to London St Pancras International via Canterbury West and 10.07pm Ramsgate to London St Pancras International via Dover services will terminate at Ashford International.

An additional train will run from Ashford International at 11.24pm to London Charing Cross, calling at London Bridge and Waterloo East

The 10.37pm London St Pancras International to Margate via Canterbury West, 11.04pm London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover, 11.37pm London St Pancras International to Margate and the 00:12 London St Pancras International to Ashford International services will not run.

An additional train will leave London Charing Cross at 12.48am, calling at Waterloo East, London Bridge and Ashford International.

An additional train will run between Ashford International and Margate via Canterbury West, and between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Dover.

High Speed via Gravesend (Saturday, November 25)

The 11.55pm London St Pancras International to Faversham will not run.

Buses replace trains between Gravesend and Rochester / Maidstone West (Saturday, November 25)

Routes affected: Southeastern between Strood and Paddock Wood, and between London St Pancras International and RamsgateThameslink between Luton / Kentish Town / London Bridge and Gillingham / Rainham

Network Rail are carrying out engineering work on the lines through Gravesend and Strood, blocking the line, Gravesend, Strood and Maidstone West.

Southeastern:

High Speed via Gravesend: Trains between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Faversham will only run between St Pancras and Gravesend.

Medway Valley Line: Trains between Paddock Wood and Strood will run hourly and will only run between Tonbridge and Maidstone West.

Accessible rail replacement buses will run between:

Gravesend and Rochester calling at Strood only.

Gravesend and Maidstone West calling at all stations.

Thameslink:

The 1.24am Dartford to Gillingham will be replaced by a bus between Gravesend and Gillingham.

All day on Saturday, Thameslink trains will run between Luton and Gravesend only. You can use Southeastern replacement buses between Gravesend and Rochester, and Southeastern trains between Rochester and Rainham.

Buses replace trains between Ebbsfleet International / Ashford International and Canterbury West on (Sunday November 26)

Network Rail will be carrying out engineering work near Ashford International, blocking the lines between the station and the High Speed line to Ebbsfleet International, and the line between Ashford International and Canterbury West.

High Speed via Ashford International: Trains between London St Pancras International and Margate will not run and services between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Dover Priory will only run between London St Pancras International and Ebbsfleet International.

A reduced service will run between London St Pancras International and Ebbsfleet International.

Additional trains will run between Canterbury West and Margate .

Paddock Wood Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate via Canterbury West will only run between London Charing Cross and Ashford International.

Accessible replacement buses will run between:

Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International

Ashford International and Canterbury West non-stop

Ashford International and Canterbury West calling at all stations.
