The driver of a bus has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car in Eltham.
The incident happened in Middle Park Avenue just after 11am yesterday (November 21).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a bus driver injured.
He was taken to hospital for further treatment where his injuries were assessed as not life threatening.
The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to Middle Park Avenue, Eltham at about 11:01hrs on Tuesday, 21 November following reports of a collision involving a car and a bus.
“The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene.
“The driver of the bus was taken to hospital. His injuries are not life threatening.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information that could assist police are asked to contact 101 or via ‘X’ @MetCC quoting reference 2467/21NOV23.”
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 10:54am yesterday (21 November) to reports of a road traffic collision in Middle Park Avenue, Eltham.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.
“We treated a patient for neck and back pain and took him to hospital.”
