An all-new temporary theatre in Dartford has applied for a license to sell alcohol.
Trafalgar UK Theatres Dartford LTD has applied to the Dartford Borough Council for a premises license at the new temporary theatre, Orchard West.
A premises licenses allows particular venues to offer entertainment and other activities including the selling of alcohol.
The full details of the application include selling alcohol daily between the hours of 10am – 1.30am, as well as authorising the performance of dance, live music and plays daily between 12pm to 11pm.
Today (November 14), is the last day members of the public can give their feedback on the licensing.
As details on the Public Notice Portal the application is for a variation of a premises licence.
The new venue, Orchard West, will operate during the closure of The Orchard Theatre, which is undergoing essential works following concerns over RAAC concrete.
The initial stages of creating the stage structure have commenced and will be followed by the construction of the auditorium over the next week.
A state-of-the-art seating arrangement will be at the heart of Orchard West, with 1,091 capacity.
