A cyclist is fighting for his life three days after a crash with a car in Orpington.
The incident happened in Court Road at the junction with Church Road at 12.30pm on November 11.
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a male cyclist injured.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as life-threatening.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police confirmed today (November 14) that he remains in a life-threatening condition.
The driver of the car stopped and is assisting police with their enquiries.
A spokesperson from Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 12.30pm on Saturday, 11 November to Court Road, at the junction with Church Road, Chelsfield, following a collision involving a car and a cyclist.
“Officers responded with LAS and London's Air Ambulance.
“The cyclist, a male, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. His condition is being treated as life-threatening.
“The driver of the car stopped and is assisting police.
“Road closures are in place.
“Any witnesses or those with dash cam footage should call 101 ref CAD 3081/11 Nov.
