A man has been taken to hospital with “serious” injuries after a knife fight in Croydon.
Police were called to Renown Close at 2.20pm today (Monday, November 13) following reports of a group of males fighting.
At least one of the males, police have reported, was armed with a knife.
At the scene, police found a man in his 30s in London Road with a serious knife injury to his hand and a cut to his head.
He was taken to hospital where his condition is not thought to be life threatening.
There have currently been no arrests.
A Section 35 dispersal order has been authorised.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 14:20hrs on Monday, 13 November to Renown Close, Croydon, following reports of a group of males fighting, at least one of whom was armed with a knife.
“Officers responded immediately.
“They located a man aged in his 30s in London Road with a serious knife injury to his hand and a laceration to his head.
“He has been taken to hospital.
“His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
“There have been no arrests at this time.
“A Section 35 Dispersal Order has been authorised.
“Anyone with information that could help police should call 101 ref 3855/13 Nov.”
