A video shared on TikTok shows a huge presence of emergency services outside of West Croydon station.
The TikTok creator, Croydon Extra, claims that the incident took place today (Monday, November 13) and that the area “will be completely shut down”.
It appears from the video that the cordon is in place on London Road, opposite West Croydon train station.
They also claim that the cordon is in place following the stabbing of a 30-year-old man.
However, nothing has been confirmed by the Metropolitan Police or London Ambulance Service so far.

In the video, paramedics can be seen helping someone on the pavement within the cordon as police speak to people in and around the cordon.
The creator wishes people well in the video and asks people to take care on public transport.
They go on to claim that “men are running around with machetes” and that the full condition of the person allegedly injured is not currently known.
The video goes on to show police cars and ambulances with blue lights flashing as they are parked next to a bus stop on the road.
The News Shopper has contacted the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service for a full statement.
