The annual Christmas lights switch-on in Bexleyheath is just around the corner, and anticipation is bubbling in the hearts of the community.
The town's centre will be hosting the ‘Christmas Switch on’ event all-day on Saturday, November 18.
With a hive of activities for children and adults, the family-fun entertainment will start near the Clocktower from 11am.
Presented by Martin Cee, there will be live performances throughout the day from Taylor Made Singers, Daods, Two Bows, Tilly Pantlin, Alex Askew, The Rock Choir, Jac Jossa Academy, Bollywood Vibes and many more.
As the sun began its descent on the appointed day, families and friends can see the lights switch-on countdown begin at 4.30pm.
Youngsters will even have the chance to meet Father Christmas himself.
Whilst attending the event, guests have the chance to get ahead of their Christmas shopping in beloved high-street shops, including M&S, Morley's, H&M, Sainsbury's, Boots and TK Maxx.
The Bexleyheath Christmas lights switch-on marks the beginning of a magical time for the town, bringing the community together in a shared celebration of love and hope as the holiday season approached.
