A man has died following a crash involving a car and a motorbike in Bromley.
Police were called to Croydon Road near Groveland Road junction just before 7am this morning (Monday, October 30).
Emergency services found a man with serious injuries who died at the scene.
The road is currently closed in both directions and you can follow updates on the disruption here.
Police are in the process of informing his next of kin.
The driver of the car suffered some minor injuries.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area due to delays.
Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 944/30Oct.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “At 6.52am on Monday, 30 October officers were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike on Croydon Road near to the junction of Groveland Road.
“Emergency services attended and found a man with serious injuries.
“Despite their best efforts, he sadly died at the scene.
“We are in the process of informing his next of kin.
“The driver of the car sustained minor injuries.
“Officers from the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances.
“The road is currently closed in both directions. Drivers are advised to avoid the area as there are significant delays.
“Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 944/30Oct.”
