A large amount of south east London residents have woken up to no water or low pressure today (Monday).
Thames Water has confirmed an issue in two postcodes and assured that engineers are on their way.
The problem appears to be affecting SE9 and BR7 postcodes including Eltham, Mottingham, New Eltham, Chislehurst Falconwood, Beckenham, Bromley, Chislehurst, Keston, Orpington, Swanley and West Wickham.
Thames Water claims they have received 70 calls so far reporting either low water pressure or no water.
A spokesperson for Thames Water said: “We’re sorry if you’re experiencing low pressure or no water.
“We’re aware of an issue in your area and our engineers are on their way.
“Once we’ve located the problem and assessed what’s needed, we’ll update you on what we’re doing to fix it.
“We know how inconvenient it is if you lose your water supply, so we’ll work hard to get things back to normal as soon as we can.
“We expect to provide more information here by 09:45.
“Should customers be experiencing any problems with their water supply we would encourage them to contact our customer service line on 0800 316 9800 for assistance."
