A 16-year-old boy who was caught with a spray bottle of ammonia at Bromley South train station has appeared in court.
The teen, who cannot be named, was arrested by British Transport Police officers at the station in December last year.
He was in possession of a washing up liquid bottle containing the noxious liquid.
The teen, from Lewisham, pleaded guilty to possession of a corrosive substance in public.
He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court for sentencing last month and was referred to a youth offender panel.
Youth offender panels are made up of members of the public who work with children to turn their lives around.
A restraining order was also made.
