A moped rider has died after a crash with a car in Orpington.
The incident happened in Sevenoaks Way just before 3.30pm today (October 9).
Emergency services attended and found the rider of a moped, a man in his early 20s, injured.
He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
Road closures are currently in place as the incident is being dealt with.
Police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Officers were called at 15:32hrs on Monday, 9 October to Sevenoaks Way, St Paul's Cray, Bromley.
"A moped rider was reported to have been involved in a collision with a car.
"Emergency services attended.
"Despite the efforts of emergency services, the moped rider, a man believed to be in his early 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Local road closures are in place while emergency services deal.
"Enquiries continue."
