A Dartford restaurant has been crowned as best takeaway in the UK by the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards 2023.

Sher-E-Bangla in Longfield won the title of Regional Takeaway of the Year in the 2023 awards when the winners were announced yesterday (October 8, 2023).

ARTA is a nationwide celebration of British-Asian cuisine.

They search for the top restaurant or takeaway in a variety of categories and then invite them to come together for a series of cook-offs to determine the ultimate UK Asian restaurant or takeaway.

Voting opened back in March as people across the UK decided where their favourite restaurants and takeaways were.

Sher-E-Bangla is an Indian takeaway spot in Dartford serving a variety of dishes such as tandoori dishes, balti dishes, house specials, biryani dishes and special duck dishes.
