A woman who stole three cricket bats from a sports shop in Chislehurst has appeared in court.
Beata Majewska, 53, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Friday (September 15) where she pleaded guilty to theft from a shop.
On July 13 she stole bats which were worth approximately £1,140 combined from Cook and Matthews Sport Shop on High Street, the court heard.
A panel of magistrates ordered Majewska, of Alma Road in Enfield, to pay £570 in compensation to the shop.
She was also ordered to pay a £120 fine and a £48 surcharge.
