Footage from the scene of a stabbing in Bexleyheath shows a major police presence.

A teenage boy was found injured in Broadway at around 6.50pm yesterday (September 6).

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene.

The boy was taken to hospital where his condition was initially unknown.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police confirmed today (September 7) his condition was assessed as non life threatening.

Footage shows Broadway partially cordoned off with three officers, a police van and car at the scene.

Shocked onlookers can also be seen standing outside a bus stop near Crook Log Pharmacy as the incident is dealt with.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.

"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the male was taken to hospital for treatment to stab injuries; his condition awaits.

"No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.

"Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or @MetCC quoting CAD6888/6Sep.
