A man has been taken to hospital after an assault in Belvedere.
The incident happened in Kentish Road just after 6.45pm today (September 3).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man with a serious head injury.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition is currently unknown.
Another male has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.
A crime scene is in place as police are working to establish what happened.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 6.46pm on Sunday, 3 September to reports of an assault at a residential address in Kentish Road, Belvedere.
“Officers responded with LAS.
“A male was taken to hospital with serious head injuries; a condition assessment awaits.
“Another male has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.
“Police are working to establish what happened. A crime scene is in place.”
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 6.37pm today (3 September) to reports of an incident on Kentish Road, Belvedere.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and medics in two fast response cars.
"We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
