A man has been disqualified from driving after he was caught behind the wheel of a vehicle while under the influence of cocaine on Christmas Eve.
Oliver Gore, 36, appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on August 21 after he pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, possession of cocaine and exceeding the drug driving limit.
The court heard that on December 24 last year he was behind the wheel of a Fiat Fullback on Mottingham Lane.
He was stopped by police for dangerous driving then a drugs test showed a proportion of cocaine in his blood which exceeded the limit for drivers.
Gore, of Ringlestone Road in Harrietsham, was banned from driving for 18 months.
He was also given a six month sentence, suspended for 18 months.
The sentence a requirement to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work.
