A pedestrian has died after a crash with a lorry in Peckham.
The incident happened in Peckham High Street at around 3.35pm yesterday (August 23).
Officers were called to the scene and found a pedestrian injured.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Road closures were put in place but have since been lifted.
We have contacted London Ambulance Service for further information.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at about 3.35pm on Wednesday, 23 August to reports of a lorry in collision with a pedestrian on Peckham High Street, SE15.
"Emergency services attended.
"Despite their efforts, the pedestrian died at the scene."
