A woman who threatened a man with a knife has avoided prison.
Helen Humphreys, 58, of Broadcroft Road in Petts Wood, was found guilty at trial of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and threatening a person with an offensive weapon.
She committed these offences on February 13, 2023, when she was already serving a community order for assaulting a man in March 2022.
At Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday August 16 she was sentenced to 26 weeks in prison suspended for one year.
Humphreys will be required to engage in alcohol dependency treatment.
She was ordered to pay £775 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and £154 to fund victim services.
