A man has been arrested following a stabbing in Slade Green.
Police were called to the area of Bridge Road and Forest Road at around 3pm on Sunday, August 20 following reports of a fight.
One man was taken to hospital by London ambulance service with a stab injury to his leg.
His condition has been assessed as not life threatening.
Another man was arrested in connection with the incident and taken into police custody.
Police ask that any witnesses call 101 with the reference 4490/20aug.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 15:07hrs on Sunday, 20 August, to reports of a fight in the area of Bridge Road and Forest Road, Slade Green.
“One man was taken to hospital by LAS suffering a stab injury to his leg.
“His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.
“Another man has been arrested and taken into police custody.
“Any witnesses who are yet to speak with police are asked to call 101, ref 4490/20aug.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.09 pm today (20 August) to reports of a stabbing on Rainbow Road, Erith.
“We sent multiple resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.
“We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a man at the scene before taking him to hospital as a priority.”
