We have rounded up the latest timetable changes to bus routes across London this bank holiday weekend.

TfL buses are “guided” by the Mayor’s Transport Strategy and its target that 80 per cent of all journeys will be made on foot, by bike or public transport by 2041.

There is currently a bus fleet of around 9,300 buses which follow across 675 different routes.

The latest timetable changes are in place to help “match demand, deliver value for money and allow TfL to invest in outer London”.

The following timetable changes will take place from Saturday (August 26)

Route 64 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 86 will have a new timetable from this date. Buses will be increased to run every 8-9 minutes during the daytime on Sundays. Route 86 will continue to run every 6 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 10 minutes during the evening on all days.

Route 141 will have a new timetable from this date.

Buses will be increased to run every 10 minutes during the evenings on Monday to Saturdays and all day on Sundays.

Also, from this date the times of the first buses on Sundays will be changed to start at the same time as on Monday to Saturdays.

First bus from Palmers Green to London Bridge on Sundays will now be at 4.20am (instead of 5.40am) and from London Bridge to Palmers Green at 5.10am (instead of 6.30am). No change to times of last buses.

Route 148 will have a new timetable on all days and nights of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

From Saturday August 26 route X140 will be renumbered to route SL9.

There will be no change to the bus stops served between Heathrow Airport and Harrow Bus Station.

A new timetable will be in operation on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

Route SL9 becomes the latest route to join the Superloop network of express bus routes that will help improve connections and journey times between key outer London town centres and transport hubs.
