The following cases were heard in Bexley and Bromley Magistrates’ Courts in the week starting July 31.
They include a man who stole a 15-year-old girl’s phone, and a 17-year-old girl who was carrying a kitchen knife.
Andrew Gary Sharpin, 38, of Castillon Road in Hither Green
Pleaded guilty that on October 4, 2022, in Woolwich he stole an iPhone from a 15-year-old girl.
Given a three-month sentence suspended for one year.
Tehran Antony Lewis, 43, Blashford Street in Hither Green
Pleaded guilty that on November 12, 2022, at an Esso garage on Stanstead Road in Forest Hill he threatened unlawful violence towards someone and possessed an offensive weapon in public (a hammer).
Given a community order and fined £120.
A 17-year-old girl from Belvedere
Pleaded guilty that in January she had a kitchen knife and maliciously wounded someone.
Referred to a youth offender panel.
Peter Davies, 54, of Marlow Road in Beckenham
Pleaded guilty that between November 2020 and August 2021 he committed fraud by failing to disclose his employment status to the Department for Work and Pensions intending to make financial gain.
Given a community order including 150 hours of unpaid work.
