Police have issued an update on the condition of a stabbing victim in Croydon.
A person was found injured in Hermitage Lane, SE25, just before 11.20am yesterday (August 7).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene.
The person was taken to hospital where their condition was initially unknown.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police confirmed today (August 8) that their condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
Another man was arrested in connection with the incident.
A crime scene was put in place but has since been lifted.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “At around 11:17hrs police were called to reports of a stabbing.
“Officers attended the scene alongside colleagues from the London Ambulance Service (LAS).
“A crime scene was put in place which is now closed.
“The victims condition has been assessed as not life threatening.
“A man has now been arrested.
“Enquires are ongoing.
“Anyone with information can call 101 quoting the number 2617/07AUG.”
