A man from Penge caught with sexual images of children was also found to have extreme pornographic images of a person having sex with horses, dogs and goats.
Nicholas Leigh, 48, appeared at Croydon Crown Court on Wednesday (August 2) after he pleaded guilty to multiple online sex offences.
Leigh, of Piquet Road, has pleaded guilty to:
- Two counts of possessing indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children (36 category b images and 42 category c images).
- Distributing an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child.
- Publishing an obscene article, namely conversations discussing the sexual abuse of children.
- Possessing extreme pornographic images portraying an act of intercourse/oral sex with a dead/alive animal.
The offending is said to have taken place on or before August 19, 2021.
In relation to the animal charge, court documents state: “Possessed extreme pornographic images, namely 36 which portrayed, in an explicit and realistic way, a person performing an act of intercourse with a live animal, namely several different animals, such as horses, dogs and goats.”
Leigh’s sentencing was adjourned until a date in late September to allow a pre-sentence report to be produced.
He was granted bail until that date.
