A 21-year-old man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Uxbridge.
The incident happened in Uxbridge High Street at around 3.15pm yesterday (August 1).
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man injured.
He was taken to a central London hospital for further treatment.
His condition was assessed as non-life threatening.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
He has been taken to a west London police station.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at about 3.15pm on Tuesday, 1 August to reports of a man stabbed on Uxbridge High Street.
“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.
“A 21-year-old man was taken to a central London hospital for treatment; we await an update on his condition.
“A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
"He has been taken to a west London police station.
“A crime scene is in place. Enquiries continue.
“Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 4545/01Aug.”
